1959 Fender Stratocaster

1959 Fender Stratocaster

Introduced in 1954, the Stratocaster is still the most versatile solid body guitar ever designed.
With players as varied as Jimi Hendrix, Richie Blackmore and Ike Turner,
it has featured in nearly every style of recorded music.

This original guitar is a lovely example of the classic slab board Stratocaster: so often copied but never bettered.
This rare 1959 Strat is from the first batch of slab boards still fitted with the 10 hole single-ply pickguard.
It is in great condition with some signs of wear and tear.
Judging by the way it sounds and feels, it must have made a player very happy for many years!!
Complete with brown case, tremolo, bridge cover, and leather strap.

A must for any serious vintage Fender player or collector!
