1959 Gibson ES-225 T

1959 Gibson ES-225 T

When it appeared in 1955, the ES-225T was Gibson's first thinline electric guitar.
Its revolutionary design preceded the Byrdland and was passed in 1958 on to the iconic ES-335, 345, 355.
Fitted with powerful and responsive P-90 single coil pick-up,
it is a perfect guitar for jazz, blues and rock'n'roll.

This guitar is from the last production run just before Gibson replaced it with the ES-330T:
it features the rare and sought-after trapeze tailpiece and floating bridge combination.
Exceptionally clean and fully original specimen with a very comfortable full neck profile.
Complete with its vintage brown Stone case.
