1959 Höfner Club 40

1959 Höfner Club 40

With their distinctive shape clearly inspired by Gibson’s Les Paul,
Hofner Club guitars were sold in the UK by Selmer from 1956.
They proved to be an instant hit with young skiffle combos:
John Lennon, George Harrison, Ritchie Blackmore and David Gilmour
all played a Club in their early days.
Their short scale and compact size make them really easy to play
and the control panel offers a wide range of sound configurations.

An all original guitar in great condition, complete with its original case and strap.
Nearly identical to Lennon's first electric guitar,
these 1959 Club 40s are very rare to find in good condition.
A must have for any Beatle collector!
