1966 Fender Precision Bass

The Precision Bass is perhaps the most revolutionary instrument ever launched by Leo Fender.
Whereas electric guitars existed before the Broadcaster, bass players were lumbered with double basses.
After the launch of the Precision Bass in 1951, bass players were thankfully louder
and could perform alongside guitar players at the front of the stage.

Fender continuously improved on its design and 1957 saw the Precision acquire many features that have proved timeless: new shaped pickguard, spilt coil pick-up and Strat-like headstock shape.

This 1966 original bass is in near perfect condition with some light play wear.
It sounds amazing and feels great to play, a real Rock'n'Roll bass!
Complete with its original hard case and vintage strings.
