1969 Fender Telecaster Thinline

1968 Fender Telecaster Thinline

In 1967 Fender started experimenting with ways to reduce the weight of the Telecaster
and in 1968 they released the Thinline.
Its concept is simple and ingenious, in fact it was designed by Roger Rossmeisl whom had used
the same method on Rickenbacker's Capri guitars in the late 1950s: a chambered body with an added back.

This guitar is from the second year of production in original condition with some normal playing wear.
It features a beautifully grained mahogany body and a maple cap neck.
Complete with original case and pick up cover.
